We are pleased to share with you some of the education projects we have been working on. At our church, we believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives and communities. Therefore, we are committed to providing opportunities for basic(Primary and Junior)education, senior high school, and vocation & technical school. These institutions can be located at the church mission center in Accra Sabbath city near Pokuase.
Basic Education-Primary School
We understand the importance of a strong foundation in education, which is why we have established a basic education program. This program aims to equip children with essential skills and knowledge that will prepare them for future academic pursuits. Through our dedicated teachers and well-rounded curriculum, we strive to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically and socially. We provide basic education through primary and junior high schools.
Our primary education age in Ghana starts at six and lasts for six years. This means that children in the school begin their primary education at six and continue until twelve. During the primary education phase, children are introduced to a wide range of subjects including English, mathematics, science, social studies, and the creative arts. The curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education, promoting both academic and practical skills.
Basic Education-Junior High School
Our Junior High School includes students who are between the ages of 12 and 15. In Ghana's educational system, junior high school is a crucial stage that bridges the gap between primary education and senior high school. It is a three-year program that prepares students for the next level of their academic journey.
Our Junior high school curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education, focusing on core subjects such as the English language, mathematics, science, and social studies. These subjects are complemented by additional courses like physical education, creative arts, and vocational skills development.
Senior High School
As part of our commitment to education, we have also developed a senior high school program. This program is designed to guide and support students during their crucial high school years. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes a wide range of subjects such as Agriculture, General Science, Technical Skills, Business, General Arts, Visual Arts and Home Economics and extracurricular activities. Our goal is to empower students to become well-rounded individuals who are ready to face the challenges of higher education or the workforce.
Vocational & Technical School
In addition to basic education and senior high school, our church is proud to offer a vocational & technical school program. We recognize that not all individuals have the same career aspirations or interests. Therefore, we provide vocational training in various fields such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more. Through hands-on learning experiences and expert guidance, we aim to equip individuals with practical skills that can lead to sustainable employment opportunities.
At our church, we believe that education is not only limited to academic knowledge but also encompasses character development and spiritual growth. We strive to create a holistic learning environment that nurtures the minds, hearts, and souls of our students.
